Dear Students

You are now to embark upon a 17th century independent study project.

You will be assigned to one of the following groups.

Each group will concentrate on their own poet/writer.

Each group will concentrate on the texts written by their own poet/writer.

Each group must complete the following tasks:

1	Recite and translate the texts	Oral performance by all
2	Analyse the texts	Presentation on the net or Powerpoint
3	Study the life of your poet/writer	Brief presentation on the net or Powerpoint
4	Study the historical background	Brief survey presented on the net or Powerpoint
5	Present your product to the whole group	Use internet or Powerpoint

Remember brains are an asset, but elbow grease a necessity! I hope you will enjoy your poets.
